On or about March 18, 2024, the Clerk of the Supreme Court of Illinous and Chief Justice Neville issued a court order for granting the Petitioner-Appellant Jerico Matias Cruz’s motion to expedite election matters on appeal with the Illinois Supreme Court pursuant to Ill. Sup. Ct. Rs. 311(b)(1) and for denying petition for leave to appeal pursuant to Ill. Sup. Ct. Rs. 315(a) and (c).
